Three Bears Porridge

water, boiling

ADD MIXTURE OF:

1/2

cup

cracked wheat

1/2

cup

old-fashioned oats

1/4

cup

nonfat, noninstant dry milk powder

1/4

cup

raisins

1/2

tsp

cinnamon

Stir the mixture into boiling water mixing well. Reduce heat to simmer, cover pot and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring periodically so it doesn't boil over.

After mixture has been cooked for 15-20 minutes until desired consistency is achieved. Then, turn off burner.

Add 2 Tbsp brown sugar. Stir well.

Divide into 3 bowls and let cool 5-10 minutes before eating.

Serve with desired amount of half & half cream, or milk.
