Sturbridge Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream butter and sugar. Then add eggs. Combine flours, soda and salt in a separate bowl. Then add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and chocolate chips. Mix until well combined.

Roll cookie dough into 1" balls with hands and place on greased cookie sheet. Press down slightly with two fingers. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes.

IF CONVECTION OVEN: Bake using Convection Cook at 325° for 7 minutes 40 seconds.

The secret for soft & chewy cookies is to not overbake. Cookies should be removed from oven when they begin to crack on the top around the edges, with the center still soft. Cool completely on the cookie pan before removing.
