Oatmeal Raisin Bites

quick-cooking oats

Heat the oven to 375°.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, cream cheese, and sugars. Add the egg and beat well. Add the flours, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until well blended. Stir in the raisins and oats and blend thoroughly.

Drop rounded teaspoons of dough onto a cookie sheet coated with cooking spray (about 20 per sheet).

Bake the cookies in the center of the oven for about 6 minutes or until they are lightly browned but still soft. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool.

Makes approx. 4 dozen
