Five Chip Cookies

butter, softened

peanut butter

sugar

packed brown sugar

vanilla extract

flour (1 white + 1 whole wheat pastry flour)

old-fashioned oats

baking soda

salt

milk chocolate chips (6 oz.)

semisweet chocolate chips

peanut butter chips

2/3

cup

vanilla or white chips

cup

butterscotch chips

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in chips

Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks.

Makes approx. 55 cookies. Editor's Note: Reduced fat or generic peanut butter are not recommended for this recipe.
