Croutons

whole wheat bread (Nature's Own Honey Wheat recommended)

melted butter

chopped parsley (fresh or dried)

garlic salt

Cut 4 slices of bread into 1" cubes.

Mix together bread cubes, 2 Tbsp melted butter, 1 Tbsp chopped parsley, and 1/2 tsp garlic salt.

Spread in a single layer and toast in 300° oven for about 20 minutes or until crisp.

Cool completely and store in an airtight container.

The texture of these croutons is crisp on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside, not hard as a rock like store-bought croutons.
